Art has been an interest for me since I was very young. I remember getting my hands into everything I could. My second grade teacher told my parents that I was going to be an artist. I look at my work as play and not work. Bottom line is I love what I do. I began my formal art education at Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma. This is where I met my husband Alex. We were in the same graduating class in May of 2003. I received a, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Computer Graphics degree. After graduation Alex and I moved to Canyon, Texas so we both could pursue a Masters of Art and a Masters of Fine Art degrees from West Texas A&M University. We graduated with our MA in 2005 and with our MFA in 2006. Since formal training I have pursued my ceramics full time. My works have been featured in many juried and non juried shows.
